Dear SOFT2020 Participants,
Thank you for your interest in participating at this year’s SOFT2020 on-line edition, from 20th to 25th September 2020. We would like to draw your attention to several key points before the conference starts on Sunday, September 20th, 2020.
To enter the conference visit www.soft2020.eu and log in to Virtual SOFT with your registration username and password (not your EasyChair log in!).

- We kindly remind you that your registration is intended for single use. Please do not share your log in credentials with anyone else.
You can access all content of the conference with no restrictions throughout these 6 days, and for two months after the end of the conference. If you for some reason want that your talk/poster is available ONLY during the conference please let us know.

Talks
Plenary and Invited Talks will be available as pre-recorded video presentations that you can watch on demand. Simply browse through the ‘Agenda’ and click on a talk to view it.
Q&A sessions for Plenary and Invited Talks will take place LIVE via ZOOM webinars according to the schedule on the ‘Agenda’. As an attendee of the live webinar you will be able to watch but not comment or ask questions. A ZOOM icon with the associated link is placed in each Q&A session on the Agenda. Simply click on this icon to attend the session at the designated time or enter the Q&A session for additional session information and click on the ZOOM icon provided there as well.
All questions to the Speakers have be submitted before the Q&A sessions using contact forms that are located below each video talk. The Moderators of each session will select questions to be answered live by the Speaker. All live Q&A sessions will be recorded and made available for later viewing.
Posters
All other contributions to the conference are available as Poster presentations which can be viewed through the poster e-hall, titled Posters. Posters are divided into 4 days according to the conference schedule only to mimic a real conference environment.
The presenting authors are advised to be available at these dates and times through e-mail, or to set up their own Q&A sessions, but this is not mandatory. Due to time zone differences, the authors may choose their own day and time for availability. To contact authors of a specific poster, simply use the contact form accompanying each poster.
As any additional means of communication is left to the presenters, we advise you to check the posters for more information.
Women at SOFT
EUROfusion Women’s Network event at SOFT: a networking event for women. The 2nd EUROfusion Women's Network event at SOFT takes place on Monday, 21 September, 6.30-7.30 PM (CEST). Join experimental plasma physicist Dr. Kate Lancaster to learn how to make networking count.
After, you'll have the chance to network virtually with other women in fusion.
2020 SOFT Innovation Prize
EURATOM Fusion Energy department launched in 2014 a European Prize for Innovation in Fusion with the name SOFT Innovation Prize. Watch to whom the2020 SOFT Innovation prize is awarded this year!
