Only contributions presented at the virtual SOFT2020 in the form of talk or poster will be considered for publication.

Proceedings of SOFT 2020 will be published in Fusion Engineering and Design journal.

The entire submission and review process will be handled electronically using the Elsevier Editorial System (EES).

The paper submission has been opened and deadline for submission is the 30th November 2020.

There will be no deadline extension for SOFT2020 Full paper submission.

To ensure that all manuscripts are correctly identified for inclusion into the SOFT 2020 special issue it is important:

  • you select VSI: SOFT31 when you reach the “Article Type” step in the submission process
  • under ''Request editor'' select Managing Guest Editor for VSI: SOFT-31.

The submitting authors are kindly asked to use the “comments” box to introduce the SOFT contribution number.

Please take into account that submitting authors are required to review at least two papers as a condition for publication in the conference proceedings.

The entire submission and review process of this journal is handled electronically using the Elsevier Editorial System (EES). For this reason, all the corresponding authors of the papers accepted for the SOFT 2020 conference have to do an extra registration to this electronic editorial system that differs from the SOFT 2020 system.
